Welcome to the Service Wing at Pinner Sai Centre. We see service very much as spiritual activity. Hence, we class ourselves as a service based spiritual organisation. We work to a motto given by Sathya Sai Baba:

                  "Service to Man is Service to God."

Sathya Sai Baba said that service to the community is the highest service. But more than that, there is a difference between conventional social service and selfless service. This difference has nothing to do with the service itself; the difference lies in the attitude with which the service is carried out.

What exactly is selfless service? It is the very essence of devotion, the very breath of devotion. The spiritual exercise of service is quite distinct. In service, you devote all your energy and attention to the task at hand; you give up your ego status, your conceit, your name and form and all that they demand from others. This process makes the mind pure.

The qualifications of selfless service are: A pure heart, charity, love, and selflessness, combined with a desire to improve the lives of people less fortunate than ourselves.
