Welcome to Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) at Pinner Sai Centre. The Sai Education programme supports 'The Every Child Matters' agenda and the principles of inclusive education. In SSE we nurture the whole child where we aim to create an atmosphere aimed to bring out noble habits and lofty ideals; it is not just a system to prepare students to pass exams. Indeed Sai Baba said:

"Education should be for life not just for earning a living"

The early beginnings of SSE were quite simple; it originated in India during the 1950s and early sixties, where it is branded as Bal Vikas. Sai Baba, the founder, had repeatedly urged parents to fulfil the spiritual needs of their children. He insisted that parents should take up the responsibility of moulding the character of children who in turn would shape the destiny of the nation:

"Children are the crops growing in the fields, to yield the harvest on which the nation has to sustain itself. They are the pillars on which the foundation of the nation's future is built. They are the roots of the national tree, which has to give the fruits of work, worship and wisdom to the next generation."
